CHICAGO, October 11, 2022 – Sterling Trading Tech (STT), a leading provider of order management systems, risk and margin tools and trading platforms to the capital markets worldwide, today announced the appointment of industry veteran W. Brennan Carley to its board of directors. Carley will provide strategic counsel to Sterling’s newly appointed President & CEO, Jennifer Nayar, and the executive team.

Carley, who joined the Board as an independent member effective September 1, is an accomplished industry executive who brings more than 25 years of experience in the financial markets, with a focus on trading and financial technology businesses. He has held C-level strategy and business development roles at Refinitiv, Instinet and NYFIX, as well as board positions at fintech companies including Yipes and Marketcetera. Throughout his career he has helped many fintech firms drive substantial growth and graduated magna cum laude from New York University with a degree in Economics.

In the coming months, the firm plans additions to its product offering, in both asset classes and geographical coverage, and will continue development of its new-generation trading platform.
